(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER  2024

The Scottish Borders Council (B6461 Eccles) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 16 December 2024 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00.  The Order is required for BT Openreach works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6461 at Eccles.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the B6461, A697, A6105, B6364, A6089 and B6461 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
