What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATIONS ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C605 COOKS DRIVE, WEST ROW

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C605 Cooks Drive, West Row from 50 metres south of the junction with Delph Drive for 50 metres southbound to facilitate excavation of trial holes to locate water leak. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Cooks Drive, The Green, Beeches Road, Pollards Lane, Hurdle Drive, Cooks Drive and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/12/2024 – 11/12/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C603 FRIDAY STREET, WEST ROW

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C603 Friday Street, West Row from no. 110 to no. 109 to facilitate the excavation and repairs to a manhole. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Friday Street, Chapel Road, Beeches Road, Mildenhall Road, Chapel Road, Pott Hall Road, Cricks Road, Friday Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/12/2024 - 10/12/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1113 FINNINGHAM ROAD, RICKINGHALL SUPERIOR

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1113 Finningham Road, Rickinghall Superior from 50 metres north of the junction with New Delight Road for 200 metres northbound to facilitate underground cabling works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1113, the A143, the A140, the A1120, the B1113 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 08/12/2024 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C333 TUDDENHAM ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C333 Tuddenham Road, Ipswich from Tuddenham Road to no. 14 Tuddenham Road to facilitate link box repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Friday Street, Chapel Road, Beeches Road, Mildenhall Road, Chapel Road, Pott Hall Road, Cricks Road, Friday Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/12/2024 - 13/12/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

  • The C672 Chimney Street, Hundon
  • The C672 Hundon Road, Barnardiston

This is to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Valley Wash, Lower Road, Clare Road, Brockley Green Road, Keddington Road, Hundon Road, Mill Road, the B1061, the A143 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/12/2024 - 13/12/2024 from 8am - 4pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be The Folly, Old Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/12/2024 - 13/12/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U7405 Low Green, Nowton from 190 metres northeast of the junction with Bury Road for 75 metres northeast to facilitate the disconnection and installation of electrical cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A134, the A1302, Nowton Road, Bury Road, Low Green and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/12/2024 - 13/12/2024 from 8am - 6pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:

The diversion route will be Bury Road, Dunstell Green Road, Thurston Road, Beyton Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/12/2024 - 20/12/2024 from 8am - 4pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE C704 BUXHALL ROAD, HIGH ROAD AND PURPLE HILL, GREAT FINBOROUGH AND BUXHALL

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in the following places:

  • The C704 Buxhall Road, Great Finborough
  • The C704 High Road, Buxhall
  • The C704 Purple Hill, Buxhall

This is to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Lower Road, Heron Hill, Lower Road, Onehouse, the B1115 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate:

  1. 18/12/2024 from 9.30am - 3pm
  2. 19/12/2024 - 20/12/2024 from 8am - 4pm

With a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C473 HIGHAM ROAD, RAYDON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C473 Higham Road, Raydon from Waterworks Cottages for 60 metres southbound to facilitate reinstatement works for pipeline installation. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1070, Sandpits Lane, the B1068, Hadleigh Road, Higham Hill, Higham Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/12/2024 - 6am on 13/12/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Bridleway 12, Brightwell from Felixstowe Road for 220 metres east and then 80 metres southbound to facilitate enabling surfacing and planting of bund works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Felixstowe Road, Brightwell Footpath 13 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/12/2024 - 08/06/2025 (or longer if extended by the Minister).

It is intended that the closure will operate from 8pm on 09/12/2024 - 6am on 10/12/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
