What is happening?

KIRKLEES COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

(CHIDSWELL LANE, SHAW CROSS, DEWSBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of  Chidswell Lane, Shaw Cross from a point outside Boundry End Cottages to a point outside Huntsman Free House PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Chidswell Lane, Pickering Lane, Leeds Road, Owl Lane, Windsor Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 January 2025 08:00 hours and remain in force until 8 January 2025 20:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up 18 months if necessary).

(HASTINGLEY LANE, THORNHILL, DEWSBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Hastingley Lane, Thornhill from its junction with Frank Lane to Wakefield Boundary PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via New Road, Liley Lane, Tanhouse Lane, Clough Lane, Whitley Road, Edge Top Road, Overthorpe Road, The Common, Church Lane and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 January 2025 18:00 hours and remain in force until 17 January 2025 23:59 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(SUNNY BANK AVENUE, MIRFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Sunny Bank Avenue, from its junction with Old Bank Road to its junction with Sunny Bank Walk PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Sunny Bank Walk, Bright Street, Sunny Bank Road, Old Bank Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 January 2025 and remain in force until 17 January 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WESTGATE/MOORBOTTOM/ MOORSIDE, CLECKHEATON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Westgate/ Moorbottom/Moorside, Cleckheaton from their junction with Sycamore Drive to Parkside PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Moorside, Halifax Road, Wakefield Road, Bradford Road, Dewsbury Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 January 2025 and remain in force for until 31 January 2025 between the hours of 18:00 to 06:00 daily (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(ST PEG LANE/SPEN BANK/SPEN LANE, GOMERSAL, CLECKHEATON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of St Peg Lane/ Spen Bank/Spen Lane, Gomersal, Cleckheaton from its junction with Parkside, to its junction with Oxford Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Oxford Road, Gomersal Road, Leeds Road, Bradford Road, Dewsbury Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 January 2025 and remain in force for until 31 January 2025 between the hours of 18:00 to 06:00 daily. (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WHITCLIFFE ROAD, CLECKHEATON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed  in that length of Whitcliffe Road, Cleckheaton from its junction with York Place to its junction with Wesley Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Whitcliffe Road, Serpentine Road, Northgate and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 January 2025 and remain in force until 10 January 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(MIRY LANE, HIGHTOWN, LIVERSEDGE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Miry Lane, Hightown, from its junction with First Avenue to the Footpath entrance PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. No diversion required, road is a dead end. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 January 2025 and remain in force for until 8 January 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LOW ROAD, DEWSBURY MOOR, DEWSBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Low Road, Dewsbury Moor, from its junction with Heckmondwike Road to a point outside property no. 102 Low Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via unaffected part of Low Road, Ravenshouse Road, Huddersfield Road, Temple Road, Heckmondwike Road. One way anti clockwise only, Temple Road is one way only from Huddersfield Road. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 January 2025 and remain in force for until 20 January 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(PUMP LANE, DEWSBURY MOOR, DEWSBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Pump Lane, Dewsbury Moor, from its junction with Heckmondwike Road to a point outside property no. 3 Pump Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Pump Lane, Low Road, Heckmondwike Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 January 2025 and remain in force for until 24 January 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WARREN STREET, SAVILE TOWN, DEWSBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Warren Street, Savile Town, from its junction with Headfield Road to its junction with South Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Savile Road, South Street anti clockwise direction only. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 January 2025 and remain in force until 28 February 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(HOPTON HALL LANE, UPPER HOPTON, MIRFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Hopton Hall Lane, Upper Hopton, from a point outside property no. 9 Hopton Hall Lane to approximately 40 metres East PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Hopton Hall Lane, Jackroyd Lane, Hopton Lane and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 18 December 2024 09:30 hours and remain in force until 20 December 2024 15:30 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
