1. HYSBYSIR TRWY HYN bod yr Ysgrifennydd Gwladol, yn unol â’r pwerau a roddir gan adrannau 14 a 15(5) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, yn cymeradwyo y caiff ‘Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Llwybr Troed Rhif 1 Y Sblot, Caerdydd) (Cau Dros Dro) 2024’ (a ddaeth i rym ar 1 Mehefin 2024 ac a fydd ar waith tan 30 Tachwedd 2024, gan gynnwys y diwrnod hwnnw) ei estyn a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym tan 31 Mai 2025, gan gynnwys y diwrnod hwnnw, neu hyd nes caiff y gwaith perthnasol ei gwblhau, p’un bynnag fydd gyntaf. 

2. Mae’r Gorchymyn yn cael yr effaith ganlynol i atal unrhyw berson rhag defnyddio neu deithio ar hyd Llwybr Troed Rhif 1 Y Sblot ar ei hyd. 
3. Mae angen y Gorchymyn oherwydd rhesymau iechyd a diogelwch. 
4. Y llwybr amgen fydd ar hyd Ffordd Pengam, Parc Tremorfa, Heol Tweedsmuir, Heol Muirton, South Park Road, Heol y Sblot, Walker Road, Stryd Tyndall Ddwyreiniol a Ffordd y Cefnfor.
5. Os na chwblheir y gwaith o fewn y cyfnod uchod, gellir estyn y Gorchymyn am gyfnod hirach gyda chymeradwyaeth bellach yr Ysgrifennydd Gwladol dros Drafnidiaeth.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC NOTICE THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF (SPLOTT FOOTPATH NO.1, CARDIFF) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State in pursuance of the powers conferred by sections 14 and 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, approves of ‘The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (Splott Footpath No.1, Cardiff) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024’ (which came into force on 1st June 2024 and continued in force until 30th November 2024 inclusive) being extended and continuing in force until and including 31st May 2025 or until completion of the relevant works whichever is the sooner. 

2. The Order has the following effect to prevent any person from using or proceeding along Splott Footpath No.1 throughout its length. 

3. The prohibition is required for health and safety reasons. 

4. The alternative route will be via Ffordd Pengam, Tremorfa Park, Tweedsmuir Road, Muirton Road, South Park Road, Splott Road, Walker Road, East Tyndall Street and Ocean Way.

5. If the works are not completed within the above period, the Order may be extended for a longer period with the further approval of the Secretary of state for Transport.
