D26 Pennypot Lane, Chobham - Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order For Maintenance Works
What is happening?

D26 Pennypot Lane, Chobham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.3) 2024
On 10 December 2024 Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D26 Pennypot Lane, Chobham that extends from the entrance to “Fairfields, Pennypot Lane”, to the entrance to “The Barns, Pennypot Lane”. This Traffic Order is required to enable Cadent Gas to carry out gas mains disconnection and/or connection and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out within 3 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 06 January 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents and businesses, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.
Alternative route:- Pennypot Lane, Bagshot Road, Chobham High Street, Castle Grove Road, Scotts Grove Road, Beldam Bridge Road and Pennypot Lane.
D3514 Park Street, Camberley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D3514 Park Street, Camberley which extends from its junction with Park Road to its junction with Park Lane. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate major maintenance works which is anticipated to be carried out between 9.30am and 3.30pm, as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 1 January 2025 Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. Alternative Route – D3532 Park Road, B3411 Frimley Road, D3517 The Avenue, D3516 Southwell Park Road and D3514 Park Street.
