Telford - Various Parking Restrictions
What is happening?
THE BOROUGH OF TELFORD & WREKIN COUNCIL (MAPPED PARKING PROHIBITIONS,
RESTRICTIONS AND PROVISIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.17)
TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
The Council gives notice that it proposes to make the following Traffic Order. The general effects of
the order are:
1) To introduce No Waiting At Any Time restrictions on the following roads Elm Way Sunflower Close Woodside Road
Waterloo Road Station Road Holyhead Road Broadway Ivy House Paddocks Shepherds Lane Shrubbery Road Cornflower Grove Candleberry Meadow
2) To introduce a short length of additional No Waiting 8-9am and 2.30-3.45pm restrictions on Hartshill, Oakengates
3) To introduce a No Parking on Verge or Footway restriction on Waterloo Road and Broadway
4) To introduce No Waiting and No Loading At Any Time restrictions on the junction of Riddings Close and Woodside Road
5) To introduce Disabled Badge Holders Only At Any Time restrictions on Stafford Road adjacent Oakengates United Church
6) To introduce Goods Vehicle Loading Only At Any Time, Max Stay 40 mins, No Return within 1 hour on Stafford Road adjacent Oakengates United Church and Oakengates Medical Practice
7) To introduce No Loading At Any Time restrictions on to existing double yellow line restrictions on Stafford Road and Stafford Road Service Road in the vicinity of the bus interchange
8) To introduce unrestricted free parking bays to Slaney Street and New Street; this is to add consistency in the legal orders and does not change the existing parking provisions at those locations.
9) To introduce Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm Max Stay 40 mins, No Return within 1 hour on Market Street in the vicinity of Limes Road.

Objections to the proposal should be submitted on the website via the QR code above, or in writing before Friday 24th January 2025 by email to traffic.schemes@telford.gov.uk or to: Telford & Wrekin Council, Neighbourhood
