(Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.35) Order 2024.
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49 and 53, Part III and IV to Schedule 9of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order:
1. To Implement: 'No Waiting at Any Time' Restriction on the following lengths of road
in the Borough of Basildon.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting map tiles: TQ740 890 Revision 1 to Revision 2
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 12 December 2024.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Remote Footway, Chatfield Way, Pitsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under
section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Remote Footway, Chatfield Way, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon, from the north boundary of number 17 Chatfield Way, south for approximately 3 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 11 December 2024 to 13 December 2024 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while an electricity connection is undertaken. The alternative route will be via Clarendon Road, Chatfield Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 11 December 2024 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Apton Hall Road, Stambridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Lambourne Hall Road/High Street/Anchor Lane/Lark Hill Road, Canewdon & Canewdon Road, Canewdon/Ashingdon) (Temporary Suspension of 7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Apton Hall Road, Stambridge in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 180m west of its junction with Scotts Hall Road for a distance of approximately 200m in a south westerly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the 7.5T weight restriction on that length of Lambourne Hall Road/High Street/Anchor Lane/Lark Hill Road, Canewdon & Canewdon Road, Canewdon/Ashingdon, from the junction of Creeksea Ferry Road to the junction of Ashingdon Road as cited in the "Essex County Council (Various Roads, Ashingdon and Canewdon) (Weight Restriction) Order 1991" for the duration of the closure only.
The closure/suspension is scheduled to commence on 29th January 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA78940341SB - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/suspension is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Apton Hall Road, Brays Lane, Ashingdon Road, Canewdon Road, Lark Hill Road, Anchor Lane, High Street, Lambourne Hall Road, Creeksea Ferry Road, Gore Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Brays Lane, Rochford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Canewdon Road, Ashingdon/Canewdon & Lark Hill Road, Canewdon) (Temporary Suspension of 7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Brays Lane, Rochford in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Shires Way for a distance of approximately 350m in a north easterly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the 7.5T weight restriction on that length of Canewdon Road, Ashingdon/Canewdon & Lark Hill Road, Canewdon, from the junction of Ashingdon Road to the junction of Scotts Hall Road as cited in the "Essex County Council (Various Roads, Ashingdon and Canewdon) (Weight Restriction) Order 1991" for the duration of the closure only. The closure/suspension is scheduled to commence on 8th January 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008FBD36317SB - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/suspension is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Brays Lane, Apton Hall Road, Scotts Hall Road, Lark Hill Road, Canewdon Road, Ashingdon Road and vice versa.

(Clifton Avenue, Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Clifton Avenue, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Kents Hill Road to its junction with Felsted Road a distance of approximately 135m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th January 2025 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SA001WFQDTL1C - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole installation works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Kents Hill Road, Kimberley Road, Clarence Road, Clifton Avenue and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Clifton Avenue, Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Clifton Avenue, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with High Road to its junction with Southcliff a distance of approximately 460m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd February 2025 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30008280621 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead line replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via High Road, Kimberley Road, Kents Hill Road and vice versa (with access only into Clifton Avenue).
The Order will come into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Creeksea Ferry Road, Canewdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Creeksea Ferry Road, Canewdon in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 940m north east of its junction with Lambourne Hall Road for a distance approximately 330m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th January 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WFQR8T5VL2CSB01 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Coxes Farm Road, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coxes Farm Road, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 425m south east of its junction with Outwood Farm Road for a distance of approximately 65m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th January 2024 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30087325260 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Outwood Farm Road, Outwood Common Road, Coxes Farm Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Daws Heath Road, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Daws Heath Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Arterial Road to its junction with White House Chase a distance of approximately 845m.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 12th December 2024, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The road will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Diversion 2: Daws Heath Road, Eastwood Road, High Street, High Road, Rayleigh Weir Slip Road From A129 To A127 Eastbound and Arterial Road

(Elder Avenue, Wickford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Elder Avenue, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Friern Gardens to its junction with Berry Close a distance of approximately 40m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd January 2025 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013322604A - Essex And Suffolk
Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Friern Gardens, London Road, Deirdre Avenue, Elder Avenue and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Fairlop Gardens, Barstable) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fairlop Gardens, Barstable in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 100m west of its junction with Hockley Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th January 2025 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013311560 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Footpath From Thorpedene Avenue To Broom, Hullbridge) (Temporary Closure of Footpath) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath From Thorpedene Avenue To Broom, Hullbridge in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Thorpedene Avenue to its junction with Crouch Avenue a distance of approximately 25m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th January 2025 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30080206187 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

(Greenacres, Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Greenacres, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Scrub Lane for a distance of approximately 75 in a northerly direction.
2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in the above length of road for the duration of above closure only.
"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure and restriction is scheduled to commence on 13th January 2025 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2345383 - Essex County Council). (Hall Road, Rochford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hall Road, Rochford in the District of Rochford, from its junction with West Street for a distance of approximately 60m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th January 2025 for 1 night (22:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL701SSV-38-49-080125 -Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while detailed bridge examination works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

(Kennel Lane, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kennel Lane, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Noak Hill Roundabout for a distance of approximately 80m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th January 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013306931 -Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Noak Hill Road Roundabout, Noak Hill Road, Bell Hill Roundabout, Southend Road, Hickstars Lane and vice versa (with access only into Kennel Lane).
The Order will come into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
