Order 2025 Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 2/1/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 11/4/25. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.

Roads affected: The Square, Mill Street & Manor Road, Chagford, (this is a rolling closure)

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - When The Square Is Closed Use: The Square & Vice Versa. When Mill Street Is Closed From The Square To Just Past The Junction With Manor Road Use: Manor Road, Road From Factory Cross To Waye Cross, Road From Gidleigh Lodge To Factory Cross, Road From Factory Cross To Way Down Cross, Road From Sandsgate Cross To White Gates Cross, A382, B3206, The Square, Mill Street & Vice Versa. When Manor Road Is Closed Use: Manor Road, Road From Factory Cross To Waye Cross, Road From Gidleigh Lodge To Factory Cross, Mill Street & Vice Versa. When Mill Street Is Closed Between Factory Cross & Manor Road Use: Road From Factory Cross To Way Down Cross, Road From Sandsgate Cross To White Gates Cross, A382, B3206, The Square, Mill Street & Vice Versa.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: gas main replacement works.
