What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

THE BARNET (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES, WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 – SECTION 90A

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under section 6 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

In order to deter obstructive parking, and improve sightlines and safety, the general effect of the Order would be to introduce new ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions at the junction of Tretawn Gardens and Marsh Lane NW7.

FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Barnet in exercise of powers conferred by Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980 proposes to introduce road humps/speed cushion as follows:

A copy of the proposed Order, associated plan of the relevant areas and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be obtained, inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing parking.consultations@barnet.gov.uk or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 7th Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London NW9 4EW.

Further information on the proposals may be obtained by visiting the Barnet Traffweb website at https://barnet.traffweb.app or telephoning the Design Team on 020 8359 3555.

Any person wishing to object to or comment on the proposed Order should send a written statement explaining their objection/comments, and quoting reference number RSN022 Tretawn Gardens (SCR613), to the Design Team, London Borough of Barnet, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale NW9 4EW, via the Barnet TraffWeb website or via email to highwayscorrespondence@barnet.gov.uk within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
