What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES WARWICK ROAD
Southbound Directional Road Closure from the Junction of Fenlon Place
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea intends to make an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR UTILITY WORKS.
Warwick Road to be closed southbound from the junction of Fenlon Place to the junction of West Cromwell Road.
To be closed from 08.00hrs on Friday 27th December 2024 until 18.00hrs on Saturday 4th January 2025, with backup dates of Saturday 28th December 2024 until Sunday 5th January 2025, or until the works are completed.
Diverted through traffic may use Warwick Road, Pembroke Road, Earl’s Court Road, West Cromwell Road, Warwick Road.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the pemission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
