NCN75 Cycle Route, Cambuslang Temporary Footpath Closure Order 2025
South Lanarkshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order :-
This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council, NCN75 cycle route, Cambuslang, Temporary Footpath Closure Order 2025” and shall come into operation between 7am 13 January 2025 and 7pm 25 January 2025. The restrictions will be applied on site by the display of traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
Whilst this order remains in force no person shall walk or cycle on the sections of road specified in Schedule 1 by reason verge maintenance.
Nothing in Article 2 of this Order shall prevent the driving upon the said road by any vehicle which is being used in connection with the verge maintenance or by emergency service vehicles.
Schedule 1 – Temporary Footpath Closure – NCN75 cycle route, Cambuslang
NCN75 cycle route, Cambuslang, between its junction with Northbank Avenue and Bridge Street.
Alternative Pedestrian Route
Via Northbank Avenue, Westburn Road, Westburn Drive, Bridge Street and vice versa.
