The Cornwall Council (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council proposes to make a new Order under Section 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Act.

The proposed Order will revoke and replace THE CORNWALL COUNCIL (OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2024 (AS AMENDED) whilst also making the following amendments:

  1. The following car parks will be revoked from the Order:
    • Cawsand Car Park, Cawsand
    • Porthcothan Bay Car Park, Porthcothan
    • Tintagel Visitors Centre Car Park, Tintagel
    • Park Avenue Car Park, St Ives
    • Dane Road Car Park, Newquay
    • Watergate Bay Car Park, Watergate Bay
    • Belle Vue West Car Park,
    • Readymoney Car Park,
    • Trebarwith Strand Car Park,
    • Commercial Road Car Park, Penryn
    • Helford Village Car Park, Helford
    • Kittos Field Car Park, Porthleven
    • Rosewarne, Camborne
    • Rosewarne Extension, Camborne
    • Porthmeor Car Park, St Ives
    • Belmont Car Park, Newquay
    • Tregantle Car Park, Freathy
    • Pannier Market Car Park, Launceston
    • Castle Street Car Park, Launceston
    • Walk house Car Park, Launceston
    • Clifden Road Car Park, St Austell
    • Seaton Park Car Park, Seaton
    • St Peters Hill Car Park, Newlyn
    • Tregunnel Car Park, Newquay
    • Albany Road Car Park, Newquay
    • Poldhu Car Park, Mullion
    • The Sloop Car Park, St Ives
    • Pentire Headland Car Park, Newquay
  1. The conversion of Old Bridge Street, Truro into a short stay Car Park
  2. Implementation of Reserved Parking Permits in Tolcarne Road Car Park, Newquay
  3. Adjustment of the minimum spend for JustPark Wallet Sessions

This Notice is intended to provide an indication of the Order’s provisions.
