ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

(Osmondthorpe Lane, Neville Garth, Neville Close, Leeds) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Notice 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT because works are proposed to be executed on or near the undermentioned highways by Network Rail, Leeds City Council intends in not less that 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: no person shall cause any vehicles to proceed along any length of road specified on Schedule 1 below nor wait on any length of road specified in Schedule 2 hereto; PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the relevant work.

DIVERSIONARY ROUTES:

Halton Moor Road. Halton Moor Avenue, Selby Road, York Road. York Road, Selby Road, Kyffin Avenue, Carden Avenue. Neville Road, Halton Moor Avenue, Halton Moor Road.

Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained.

PERIOD OF WORKS/RESTRICTIONS: The works will take place between Thursday 19th December and Tuesday 31st December 2024. The dates and times of the individual restrictions are shown in the schedules hereto.

SCHEDULE 1 – ROADS TO BE CLOSED

Osmondthorpe Lane: from a point 30m north of the railway bridge to a point 30m south of the railway bridge from 23.59 Thursday 19th December to 18:00hrs Tuesday 31st December 2024.

Osmondthorpe Lane: from a point 30m north of the railway bridge to its junction with Halton Moor Road From 22.00 Tuesday 24th December to 18:00hrs Sunday 29th December 2024.

Neville Garth: for its entire length.

SCHEDULE 2 – PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING

Osmondthorpe Lane: from a point 30m north of the railway bridge to a point 30m south of the junction with Neville Garth From 07.00 Tuesday 24th December to 18:00hrs Sunday 29th December 2024.

Neville Garth: for its entire length.

Neville Close: for 10m at each junction with Neville Garth.
