Tunbridge Wells, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

 

TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA

 

Foxhole Lane, Matfield, TN12 7ER (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow tree cutting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Foxhole Lane, Matfield, on or after 18th December 2024 for up to 1 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Little Foxhole and Little Orchard. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Foxhole Lane, Chestnut Lane, B2160 Maidstone Road, Bramble Reed Lane, Foxhole Lane and vice versa.

 

Hawkenbury Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN2 5FZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow highway improvement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hawkenbury Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 18th December 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at Duncalf Road turning into Pavillion, between the hours of 09:30 and 14:30 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hawkenbury Road, Benhall Mill Road, Forest Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Pearsons Green Road, Paddock Wood, TN12 7DF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow tree cutting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pearsons Green Road, Paddock Wood, on or after 20th December 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Old Hay and Willow Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Pearsons Green Road, Churn Lane, B2162 Maidstone Road, Yew Tree Green Road, Crook Road, Pixot Hill, Mile Oak Road, Pearsons Green Road and vice versa.
