Northumberland, Temporary Road Closure Due To Fibre Network Installation
What is happening?
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) C327 PINKINGS CLEUGH JUNCTION TO BLENKINSOPP GREENHEAD (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C327 Pinkings Cleugh Junction to Blenkinsopp from its junction with A69 heading southwards for a distance of 2110 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 18th January 2025 until the 27th January 2025. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 18th January 2025 until the 20th January 2025, between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00, and between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th January 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the C328, A69 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Viberoptix to carry out test rodding, roping, mole ploughing, blockage removal and pole installation for network Fibre. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
