Gibson Place, Temporary Road Closure Due To Cabling Works
What is happening?
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) U8290 GIBSON PLACE HEXHAM (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8290 Gibson Place Hexham for its entire length of 75 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 13th January 2025 until the 31st March 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 13th January 2025 until the 17th January 2025 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st March 2025.
There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.

The closure has been requested by Avonline Networks to install cabling for network fibre. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
