Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(B4194 Pearl Lane, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of B4194 Pearl Lane from its junction with U64218 Redhouse Road for a distance of 165 metres in a northerly direction.
Reason: Replacement gas main by S&R Construction.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Access for emergency vehicles is not possible due to excavation work in carriageway, the diversion route must be followed.
Alternative route: B4194 Pearl Lane (part), B4196 Astley, B4196 Areley Common, A451 Dunley Road, B4194 Pearl Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 6 January 2025.
(U12221 Shrewsbury Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U12221 Shrewsbury Road from its junction with U12219 Truro Drive to its junction with Jordan Close (NSG Ref 45703081).
Reason: Electricity cable replacement by National Grid.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U12219 Truro Drive, U12218 Pershore Road, U12207 Canterbury Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 10 December 2024.
(U11506 Garland Road, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U11506 Garland Road from its junction with U11507 Worth Crescent for a distance of 45 metres in a westerly direction and then from its junction with U11507 Worth Crescent for a distance of 32 metres in a westerly direction.
Reason: Electricity cable renewal by National Grid.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U11507 Worth Crescent.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 9 December 2024.
(U12336 Mallory Drive, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U12336 Mallory Drive from its junction with U12335 Oulton Close to its junction with U12331 Puxton Drive.
Reason: New customer connection by Cadent Gas.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U12331 Puxton Drive, U12314 Willowfield Drive, U12331 Puxton Drive, U12335 Oulton Close and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 9 December 2024.
(C2015 Sladd Lane, Wolverley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2015 Sladd Lane from its junction with U13200 Horseley Hills Lane to its junction with B4189 Shatterford Lane.
Reason: Boundary box renewal by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2015 Sladd Lane (part), C2016 Drakelow Lane, C2019 Wolverley Village, B4189 Shatterford Lane, C2015 Sladd Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 6 January 2025.
(U40000 Wilden Top Road & U400000 Summerway Lane, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: U40000 Wilden Top Road from its junction with U40000 Hillary Road to its junction with C2140 Charlton Lane. Closure 2: U400000 Summerway Lane from its junction with U40000 Wilden Top Road for a distance of 21 metres in an easterly direction.
Reason: Telecoms utility work by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U40000 Hillary Road, C2172 Wilden Road, C2172 Wilden Lane, A449 Worcester Road, U40000 Summerway Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 6 January 2025.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(Wyre Forest District – Stourport area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on Lickhill Road and Private Access Road, Stourport]
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of road in Stourport:
- Lickhill Road (Northeast side): from the centre point of its junction with the private access road for a distance of 15.5 metres in a north westerly direction.
- (Southwest side): from its junction with the private access road for a distance of 14.1 metres in a north westerly direction.
- Private access road (Both sides): from its junction with Lickhill Road for a distance of 12.8 metres in a southerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
