What is happening?

PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (GREYSTOKE AVENUE/CARRADALE ROAD/EPPING CRESCENT/SKARDALE GARDENS) DRIVING, PARKING, WAITING, LOADING, UNLOADING AND MOVEMENT OF PEDESTRIANS ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), intend to make an Order the effect of which is:

1. To prohibit the driving, parking, waiting, loading and unloading of vehicles:
- Greystoke Avenue - for its entirety
- Skardale Gardens - for its entirety
- Carradale Road - between the junctions of Epping Crescent
- Carradale Road - northbound from Greystoke Avenue to Epping Crescent

2. To prohibit the movement of pedestrians in:
- Epping Crescent - from numbers 41 to 57 and 101 to 105
- Carradale Road - from numbers 141 to 147 and 84 to 90 and 1 to 3

3. To prohibit the parking, waiting, loading and unloading of vehicles in:
- Epping Crescent - for its entirety

The prohibition of driving, parking, waiting, loading, unloading and movement of pedestrians will be in operation on the days and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs are displayed. The Order shall come into force on 6th January 2025 and shall remain in force for a maximum of 18 months

It is anticipated that the phased gas mains works will commence on the 6th January 2025 until 14th April 2025 24hrs
