Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Faringdon, Footpath 207/17/20

  • Date of Order: 23 December 2024

  • Coming into force: 30 December 2024

This Order is being introduced because of the continuation of housing development off Park Road, which is anticipated to be completed on 30 May 2026. This is a 24-hour footpath closure.

The effect of the Order is to close temporarily that part of Footpath No. 207/17/20 between the A417 Park Road and the A420 — to the west of the roundabout. Exemptions are included for emergency services and the works. The alternative route will be signed locally around the east of the site. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Consent of the Secretary of State for Transport will be requested to extend the 6-month order as required. (Ref: T14637/AC)
