ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

A445 LEICESTER LANE, CUBBINGTON

Order Effect: Road closed from Kenilworth Road and Coventry Road.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.

Order Commences: 12 December 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 12 December 2024.

Access & Diversion: Westhill Road, Stoneleigh Road, Bubbenhall Road, Coventry Road, and vice versa. Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

EMSCOTE ROAD, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Structural examination of the railway bridge, closed 22.00hrs - 05.00 hrs.

Order Commences: 11 December 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 12 December 2024.

Access & Diversion: Emscote Road, Rugby Road, Binswood Street, Clarendon Square, Clarendon Place, Dale Street, Adelaide Road, Avenue Road, Park Drive, Princes Drive, Myton Road, Banbury Road, Castle Bridge, Castle Hill, Smith Street, St Johns, Coten End and vice versa.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH ON MYTON ROAD, WARWICK

Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic.

Reason for Order: Junction improvement works as part of Europa Way project.

Order Commences: 10 December 2024 for up to 6 months. Anticipated Completion: 11 February 2025.

Access & Diversion: Myton Road, Europa Way, Old Warwick Road, Princes Drive and vice versa.

WELSH ROAD, OFFCHURCH

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works for boundary box installation.

Order Commences: 9 December 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 11 December 2024.

Access & Diversion: Welsh Road, Fosse Way, Hunningham Road, Rugby Road, Windmill Hill, Offchurch Road, Cross Lane and vice versa.

Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

WELSH ROAD, OFFCHURCH, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Pole testing and associated works. Order Commences: 4 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Unfortunately, these works were delayed but have now been rescheduled to 12 December 2024.

Access & Diversion: Welsh Road, Fosse Way, Hunningham Road, Rugby Road, Windmill Hill, Offchurch Road, Cross Lane and vice versa.

Contractor: Sunbelt Rentals Ltd, Tel: 03700 500 792.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(FOOTPATH ADJACENT TO HARBURY LANE, WARWICK)
CYCLE TRACK ORDER 2024

Warwickshire County Council hereby gives notice that it has made (but not yet confirmed) an Order under section 3 of the Cycle Tracks Act 1984, the effect of which will be to convert a footpath, as described in the Schedule below, into a shared use cycle track with a right of way for pedal cycles and on foot.

The Order requires confirmation and shall not come into operation until the date on which a further notice is published indicating that the Order has been confirmed in accordance with Regulation 10 of the Cycle Tracks Regulations 1984.

A copy of the unconfirmed Order and associated plan are available to view, free of charge, online at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/cycling/cycle-routeschemes-consultation/8 and at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick.

SCHEDULE

That section of unnamed footpath which is coloured orange on the Plan (which extends from point A as shown on the Plan at its junction with Earl Rivers Avenue, generally southwards and then south-eastwards to point B as shown on the Plan near to its junction with Tachbrook Road) having a width of approximately 3 metres.
