New Lane - Temporary Road Closure due to Network Rail Works

What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - NEW LANE, HAVANT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED:

That part of New Lane between its junction with Eastern Road and its junction with School Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:

Fairfield Road, Waterloo Road, North Street, Elm Lane, Park Road North, Petersfield Road, Crossland Drive, New Lane

DURATION OF ORDER:

From Sunday 22nd December 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Monday 23rd December 2024, working between the hours 00:30-04:30).

The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Network Rail.
