What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
(EDGE LANE, THORNHILL, DEWSBURY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any
vehicle to proceed in that length of Edge Lane, Thornhill, from its junction with Highfield Mount to a point outside property no. 129 Edge Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in
connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Edge Lane, Chapel Lane, Edge Top Road, Briestfield Road, Low Road, Albion Road, Edge Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 11 December 2024 and remain in force for approximately one day between 09:30 hours to 13:30 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
(MOOR LANE, GOMERSAL, CLECKHEATON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any
vehicle to proceed in that length of Moor Lane, Gomersal, from a point outside property no. 109 Moor Lane to a point outside property no. 111 Moor Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Moor Lane, Dewsbury Road, Bradford Road, Whitehall Road West, Whitehall Road East, Birkenshaw Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 9 December 2024 08:00 hours and remain in force for until 13 December 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
(GOMERSAL LANE, GOMERSAL, CLECKHEATON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 3) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Gomersal Lane, Gomersal from a point outside property no. 74 Gomersal Lane to a point outside property no. 2 Gomersal Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Gomersal Lane, Spen Lane, Oxford Road, Quarry Road, Upper Lane, Lower Lane, Gomersal Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 12 December 2024 09:00 hours and remain in force until 12 December 2024 17:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
(GARDENS ROAD, RAVENSTHORPE, DEWSBURY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Gardens Road, Ravensthorpe from a point outside property no. 1 Gardens Road to the end PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. No Diversion.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 9 December 2024 and remain in force until 15 December 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
