What is happening?

SOUTHEND-ON-SEA CITY COUNCIL

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND PARKING) (TTO 2302) ORDER 2024

Notice is given that the Southend-on-Sea City Council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has proposed to make the above Order. The effect of the Order will be as follows:

Marlborough Ltd will be carrying out road maintenance on the location listed below in Table 1.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic (including waiting, loading and unloading) and parking at the location listed in Table 1 to this notice.

The Order and prohibitions will come into effect on 11th December 2024 on the dates stated in Table 1 and the work is planned to end on 12th December 2024, however, this Order may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier and will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs.

Access for emergency vehicles, vehicles being used in connection with the works, will be maintained during the closure.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction/prohibition imposed by this Notice may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).
