The County of Cornwall (Infra23-322) (Helston) (Restrictions on Driving) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cornwall Council proposes to make the above Orders to regulate traffic in Helston. The effect is to introduce a 30mph speed limit and prohibition of motor vehicles along the lengths of road described below.

It is also proposed to introduce a raised table junction under the provisions of Sections 90A-F of the Highways Act 1980. The effect will be to reduce vehicle speeds and improve safety along the lengths of road described below.

Copies of the relevant documents are available for public inspection during normal office hours at Reception, New County Hall, Treyew Road, Truro, TR1 3AY. Comments of support, objections or any other representations, must be sent in writing, with objections specifying the grounds on which they are made, to Cormac Solutions Ltd, Infrastructure Design Group, Radnor Road, Scorrier, Redruth, TR16 5EH. Prohibition of Motor Vehicles
Access to Flambards from Clodgey Lane south-west from junction with Gays Hill.

Raised Table Junction
1 raised table to be laid at junction of Access to Flambards from Clodgey Lane and Gays Hill, having a rise of 75mm and extending full width of carriageway. The stated horizontal and vertical dimensions are subject to permitted pavement construction tolerances.
