What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
(VARIOUS ROADS, WINDSOR)
(20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024
The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, in exercise of its powers under the Road TrafficRegulation Act 1984 (the Act) and all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police made the above Order on 03 December 2024, the effect of which will be to: Implement a 20mph speed limit along the following roads in Windsor:Barry Avenue: from its junction with Stovell Road to a point 125 metres east of the junction with Vansittart Road, Duke Street: for its entire length, Stovell Road: From a point 80 metres north and westwards from its junction with Maidenhead Road to its junction with Barry Avenue, Vansittart Road: from a point 20 metres
north of its junction with Maidenhead Road to its junction with Barry Avenue.
All distances are approximate.
Copies of the documents detailing the proposals can be inspected at Windsor Library, Bachelors Acre, WindsoFr, SL4 1ER, at the following times: Monday, Thursday, and Friday - 9:30am-5:30pm, Tuesday 2pm -7pm, Wednesday 1.30pm-5.30pm, Saturday 10am-4pm, and Sunday 11am-2pm.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained therein, on thegrounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds thata requirement of that Actor of any relevant Regulation made under it, has not been complied with, may,within six weeks from 03 December 2024 make application for thepurpose to the High Court.
