TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2024 Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984

Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

(i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

AYLSHAM - Millgate from its junction with Dunkirk to its junction with New Road to facilitate Norfolk County Council carriageway patching works from 9th to 10th December 2024 (may continue until the 21st January 2025). Alternative route is via: Banningham Road, Drabblegate, A140 Aylsham Bypass, Norwich Road, Red Lion Street, White Hart Street, Gashouse Hill, Millgate.

BRADWELL - Church Lane from its junction with Beccles Road for 40m westwards to facilitate Norfolk County Council footway maintenance works on 11th December 2024 (may continue until the 22nd January 2025). Alternative route is via: Church Lane, Sun Lane.

COLBY AND BANNINGHAM - Colby Road from 45m north of its junction with Church Close for 50m northwards to facilitate works for a new water connection from 11th to 13th December 2024 (may continue until the 24th January 2025). CROMER - Cabbell Road from 15m north of its junction with Cadogan Road for 50m north eastwards to facilitate water meter exchange works on the 10th December 2024 (may continue until 21st January 2025). FELMINGHAM - Stow Heath Road from 570m south of its junction with Grange Road for 100m southwards to facilitate BT pole testing works on the 12th December 2024 (may continue until 23rd January 2025). HORSTEAD WITH STANNINGHALL - Hall Lane from its junction with B1150 Norwich Road for 50m north westwards to facilitate works for the fitting of a new water main from 9th to 11th December 2024 (may continue until 22nd January 2025). UPWELL - 1) Flint House Road from its junction with Cock Fen for 50m westwards and 2) Flint House Road from its junction with Horsehead Drove for 50m northwards and 50m southwards to facilitate Anglian Water new connection works from 9th to 11th December 2024 (may continue until 22nd January 2025). WALPOLE - The Marsh from 200m east of its junction with Frenchs Road for 100m eastwards to facilitate Norfolk County Council carriageway patching works from 10th to 11th December 2024 (may continue until 22nd January 2025). WEST ACRE - West Acre Footpath 2 from 200m east of its junction with Narford Road for 50m eastwards to faciltate Norfolk County Council footpath repairs from 10th December 2024 to 31st March 2025 (may continue until 9th June 2025). Alternative route is via: N/A.

WEST DEREHAM - West Dereham Road from 260m east of its junction with Church Road for 60m eastwards to facilitate Anglian Water meter exchange works from 11th to 13th December 2024 (may continue until 24th January 2025). SUTTON - The Street from 135m south of its junction with New Road for 50m southwards to facilitate repairs to an Anglian Water manhole on the 3rd December 2024 (may continue until 14th January 2025). Alternative route is via: C778 Golf Links Road/Chapel Road, U78078 High Common/Morley Lane, B1172/ C572 London Road/Norwich Road.

NEW BUCKENHAM - Marsh Lane from 50m south of ts junction with B1113 King Street for 75m south-wards to facilitate BT new connection works from 10th to 11th December 2024 (may continue until the 22nd January 2025) Alternative route is via: King Street.

SCOLE - C582 Bungay Road from its junction with A143 Scole Stuston Bypass for 200m north-westwards to facilitate Norfolk County Council carriageway repairs from 9th to 11th December 2024 (may continue until the 22nd January 2025).

Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by vehicles of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months for vehicular highway or 6 months for non-vehicular highway.
