(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN B1004 MICHAELS ROAD AND A1250 HADHAM ROAD, BISHOPS STORTFORD) ORDER 2024                                                                                                      NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:- 1. that length of B1004 Michaels Road, Bishops Stortford from its junction with B1383 Stansted Road north westwards to its junction with the B1004 Rye Street roundabout, a distance of approximately 500m. An alternative route will be via B1383 Stansted Road, A1250 (Hockerill Street/The Causeway/Link Road) and B1004 (Northgate End/Rye Street).                                                                          2. that length of A1250 Hadham Road, Bishops Stortford from its junction with the A120 Bishops Stortford Bypass/A120 Hadham Road roundabout north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Bells Hill, a distance of approximately 1530m. An alternative route will be via A120 (Bishops Stortford Bypass/unnamed road) and A1250 (Dunmow Road/ Hockerill Street/The Causeway/Link Road/Hadham Road). The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 January 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN ASHWELL ROAD, BYGRAVE AND THE HOLT, KIMPTON) ORDER 2024    NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-                            1. that length of Ashwell Road, Bygrave from its junction with Church Lane south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Bygrave Public Footpath No.004, a distance of approximately 1260m. An alternative route will be via Ashwell Road, Claybush Road, Ashwell Street, Kingsland Way, High Street, West Street, Newnham Way, Ashwell Road, Newnham Road, A505 (Great North Road/North Road), Bygrave Road and Ashwell Road.                      2. that length of The Holt, Kimpton from its junction with Fox Hill north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with B651 Hitchin Road, a distance of approximately 2491m. An alternative route will be via Fox Hill, Claggy Road, B652 High Street and B651 Hitchin Road. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 January 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS FOOTWAYS AND FOOTPATHS IN SAWBRIDGEWORTH) ORDER 2024                                                                NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the following lengths of footway (“the Footways”) and footpath (“the Footpaths”):-                                                                                      1. the footway fronting Nos.1-5 Yewlands, Sawbridgeworth from its westernmost junction with Elmwood south westwards, north westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 85m. There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footway will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.                                    2. the footpath fronting Nos.27-28 Yewlands, Sawbridgeworth from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.28 Yewlands south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 47m. An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the west side of Yewlands, the footway situated on the south and east sides of Parkway and the footway situated on the north side of Yewlands.                                                                                        3. the footpath fronting Nos.16-21 Yewlands, Sawbridgeworth from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.16 Yewlands north westwards for a distance of approximately 42m. An alternative route will be via the footpath fronting Nos.6-15 Yewlands, the footway situated on the west, north and east sides of Parkway and the footway situated on the south side of Yewlands.        4. the footpath fronting Nos.6-15 Yewlands, Sawbridgeworth from its junction with Yewlands south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Parkway, a distance of approximately 66m. An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the east side of Yewlands, the footway situated on the south and west sides of Elmwood, the footpath fronting Nos.38-44 Yewlands and the footpath situated on the north side of No.33 Parkway or via the footway situated on the footway situated on the west side of Yewlands and the footway situated on the south, east and north sides of Parkway.                                                                                                                        5. the footway fronting Nos.22-26 Yewlands, Sawbridgeworth from its southernmost junction with Parkway south eastwards, north eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 84m. There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footway will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footways and Footpaths. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 23 December 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Footways and Footpaths. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CLAPGATE, ALBURY) ORDER 2024                  NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Clapgate, Albury from its junction with Mill Lane north westwards for a distance of approximately 93m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via Clapgate, Albury Road, Standon Road, A120 (Standon Road/Stortford Road/Kents Lane/Standon Hill), A10 Puckeridge Bypass, B1368 (Buntingford Bypass/Wickham Hill/Station Road), Ford Street, The Street, Pelham Road, Braughing Road, Patient End, C35 (unnamed road), C15 (unnamed road), Gravesend and Clapgate. The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing utility pole is proposed to be executed near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 5 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF 3U42 (UNNAMED ROAD), GREEN TYE) ORDER 2024                                                                                                                  NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of 3U42 (unnamed road), Green Tye from a point 133m south west of its junction with Much Hadham Public Bridleway No.038 south westwards for a distance of approximately 183m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via 3U42 (unnamed road) Green Tye, Aerodrome Road, B1004 Great Hadham Road, Danebridge Road, Stanstead Hill and 3U42 (unnamed road). The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing utility pole is proposed to be executed near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 10 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF NEWTOWN ROAD, BISHOPS STORTFORD) ORDER NO.3 2024                                                                                              NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Newtown Road, Bishops Stortford from its junction with B1529 South Street south westwards for a distance of approximately 50m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via B1529 South Street, A1059 Station Road, A1060 Dane Street, A1250 The Causeway, Bridge Street, B1529 (Market Street/Potter Street), Apton Road and Newtown Road or via B1529 (South Street/Potters Street), Apton Road and Newtown Road. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 9 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF 3U41 (UNNAMED ROAD), PERRY GREEN) ORDER 2024                                                                                                                      NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of 3U41 (unnamed road), Perry Green from a point 42m south east of its junction with Much Hadham Public Footpath No.032 south eastwards for a distance of approximately 120m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via 3U41 (unnamed road), Stansted Hill, Danebridge Road, Malting Lane, B1004 (Tower Hill/Widford Road), Bourne Lane and 3U41 (unnamed road). The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing utility pole is proposed to be executed near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 10 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B1383 STANSTED ROAD, BISHOPS STORTFORD) ORDER 2024                                                                                                      NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B1383 Stansted Road, Bishops Stortford from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.192 Stanstead Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 30m (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via B1383 Stanstead Road, B1004 (Michaels Road/Rye Street/ Northgate End), A1250 (Link Road/ The Causeway/Hockerill Street) and B1383 Stansted Road. The Order is needed because electrical service connection works are proposed to be executed near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 7 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF QUEENS CRESCENT, BISHOPS STORTFORD) ORDER 2024                                                                                                      NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Queens Crescent, Bishops Stortford from its junction with Merrill Place south eastwards for a distance of approximately 30m (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via Queens Crescent, Elizabeth Road and Queens Crescent. The Order is needed because electrical connection service works are proposed to be executed near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 9 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
