(SANDON 50) MODIFICATION ORDER 2024

The above Order made on 7th November 2024, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-

Adding to them a footpath commencing from the public highway, opposite Doebridge Farm, at TL 3300 3306 then E on the N side of the ditch for approximately 375m to meet Sandon Footpath 23 at TL 3337 3312

Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Definitive Map Officer, Countryside and Rights of Way Service, CHN103, Growth and Environment Department, Hertfordshire County Council, Farnham House, Six Hills Way, Stevenage, Hertfordshire SG1 2ST. Email: row@hertfordshire.gov.uk (ref: NH/162/MOD) to arrive no later than 20th January 2025 and applicants must include particulars of the grounds on which it is made.

If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Hertfordshire County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WARE PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.015) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using Ware Public Footpath No.015 from its junction with Priory Street north westwards and northwards to its junction with Park Road, a distance of approximately 270m (“the Public Footpath”).

An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north side of Priory Street, the footway situated on the east side of Harris Lane and the footway situated on the south side of Park Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Public Footpath.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 January 2025 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Public Footpath.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN MUCH HADHAM, THORLEY, WARE AND CHESHUNT) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) andto prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Butlers Hall Lane, Much Hadham/Thorley from its junction with the A1184 St James Way/Moor Hall Lane East roundabout north westwards for a distance of approximately 217m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

2. that length of Chiltern Close, Ware from its junction with Heath Drive north eastwards to its junction with for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

3. that length of Holbeck Lane, Cheshunt from its junction with Dig Dag Hill north westwards to its junction with Appleby Street, a distance of approximately 509m.

An alternative route will be via Dig Dag Hill, Hammondstreet Road, Smiths Lane and Appleby Street.

4. that length of The Ridgeway, Ware from its southernmost junction with Heath Drive south westwards, north westwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards for its entire length.

An alternative route will be via Heath Drive.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 January 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF GYPSY LANE, GREAT AMWELL) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Gypsy Lane, Great Amwell from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.7 Gypsy Lane south westwards for a distance of approximately 30m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Gypsy Lane, A1170 Pepper Hill, B1502 Stanstead Road and Gypsy Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 January 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN A1170 LONDON ROAD, WARE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A1170 London Road, Ware from its junction with A1170 Viaduct Road south eastwards to its junction with Post Wood Road, a distance of approximately 268m(“the Road”). An alternative route will be via A119 (London Road/Hertford Road/Ware Road), A414 (London Road/Rush Green Link), A10 (unnamed road/Amwell Link Road) and A1170 (Pepper Hill/Amwell Hill/London Road).

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-

1. that length of Ford Lane, Aston from its junction with Walkern Road north westwards to its junctions with Brookfield Lane, a distance of approximately 500m.

An alternative route will be via Walkern Road, Benington Road, New Park Lane and Brookfield Lane.

2. that length of Windmill Field, Ware from its junction with Walton Road north westwards and clockwise for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the following lengths of footway (“the Footways”) and footpath (“the Footpath”):-

1. the footway situated on the north and west sides of Aston Road, Standon from its junction with South Road south westwards, north westwards, south westwards, north westwards, south westwards, south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Plashes Close, a distance of approximately 408m.

An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the west and east sides of South Road, the footway situated on the south and west sides of Gauldie Way, the footway situated on the south side of Stanelow Crescent and the footway situated on the south and west sides of Plashes Close.

2. the footway situated on the south and east sides of Aston Road, Standon from its junction with Sadlier Road north westwards, south westwards, north westwards, south westwards, north westwards, south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 339m.

An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the west and south sides of Sadlier Road, the footway situated on the east side of South Road, the footway situated on the north and east sides of Gauldie Way, the footway situated on the south side of Stanelow Crescent and the footway situated on the south and west sides of Plashes Close.

3. the footpath fronting Nos.37-47 Aston Road, Standon from its westernmost junction with Aston Road north westwards, north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 63m.

There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footpath will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footways and Footpath.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 23 December 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Footways and Footpath.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS SUBWAYS, FOOTWAYS AND FOOTPATH IN HERTFORD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of subway (“the Subways”), footway (“the Footways”) and footpath (“the Footpath”) will be:-

1. To prohibit all subway users from using the following Subways:-

a) the subway situated beneath A414 Gascoyne Way, Hertford from its junction with Fore Street south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 85m.

An alternative route will be via Fore Street, Church Street, the subway situated beneath A414 Gascoyne Way, Hertford Public Footpath No.077, the footpath situated on the north west side of ‘All Saints Church, Hertford Public Footpath No.079 and A414 Gascoyne Way.

b) the subway situated beneath A414 London Road, Hertford from a point 120m north west of its junction with Mangrove Road north eastwards, south eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 57m.

An alternative route will be via A414 (London Road/Gascoyne Way), Hertford Public Footpath No.079, the footpath situated on the north west side of ‘All Saints Church’, Hertford Public Footpath No.077, the subway situated beneath A414 Gascoyne Way, Church Street, Fore Street, A119 Ware Road and Old London Road.

2. To prohibit all pedestrians from using the following lengths of Footways and Footpath:-

a) the footway situated on the west side of Mangrove Road, Hertford from its junction with A414 London Road south eastwards to its junction with Hertford Public Footpath No.075, a distance of approximately 27m.

An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south west side of A414 London Road, the footpath situated on the south west sides of A414 London Road and A414 Gascoyne Way, Hertford Public Footpath No.081 and Hertford Public Footpath No.075.

b) the footway situated on the south west side of A414 London Road, Hertford from its junction with Mangrove Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 81m.

An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the west side of Mangrove Road, Hertford Public Footpath No.075, Hertford Public Footpath No.081 and the footway situated on the south west side of A414 London Road and A414 Gascoyne Way.

c) the footpath situated on the south west sides of A414 London Road and A414 Gascoyne Way, Hertford from a point 81m north west of its junction with Mangrove Road north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Hertford Public Footpath No.081, a distance of approximately 134m.

An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south west side of A414 London Road, the footway situated on the west side of Mangrove Road, Hertford Public Footpath No.075 and Hertford Public Footpath No.081.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Subways, Footways and Footpath.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 23 December 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Subways, Footways and Footpath.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B1368 GREEN END, BRAUGHING) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B1368 Green End, Braughing from its junction with Gravelly Lane southwards to its junction with Pound Close, a distance of approximately 80m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via B1368 (Green End/Hay Street/Dassels/ Dassels Hill/unnamed road), B1038 (unnamed road/Hare Street Road/High Street/Baldock Road), A10 (Buntingford Bypass/unnamed road) and B1368 (Buntingford Road/Wickham Hill/Station Road/Green End).

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 11 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE WASH/GINNS ROAD, STOCKING PELHAM) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of The Wash/Ginns Road, Stocking Pelham from a point in line with the southern boundary of ‘Glencol’ north eastwards for a distance of approximately 150m (“the length of Roads”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via The Wash, The Street, Worsted Lane, B1368 (unnamed road), B1038 (unnamed road/Conduit Lane/Pump Hill), C15 (unnamed road) and Ginns Road.

The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing utility pole is proposed to be executed near the length of Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 11 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LOWER GREEN, TEWIN) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Lower Green, Tewin from its junction with Cannons Meadow north eastwards for a distance of approximately 30m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Lower Green.

The Order is needed because electrical connection service works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 11 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Stony Hills, Stapleford/C16 (unnamed road), Tonwell from a point 562m north east of its junction with Chapmore End north eastwards for a distance of approximately 200m (“the length of Roads”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Stony Hills, Sacombe Road, B158 Wadesmill Road, A602 Tonwell Bypass and C16 (unnamed road).

The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing utility pole is proposed to be executed near the length of Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 10 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN EASTWICK HALL LANE AND THE ROAD FRONTING NOS.66-77 EASTWICK ROAD, EASTWICK) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Eastwick Hall Lane, Eastwick from its junction with A414 Eastwick Road north westwards, north eastwards, north westwards, north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Eastwick and Gilston Public Bridleway No.002, a distance of approximately 1768m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

2. the road fronting Nos.66-77 Eastwick Road, Eastwick from its junction with Eastwick Hall Lane south eastwards to its junction with A414 Eastwick Road, a distance of approximately 371m.

An alternative route will be via Eastwick Hall Lane and A414 Eastwick Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 9 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
