NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIAN & TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Various Locations Within Knutsford/Wilmslow

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic.

• Harden Park Roundabout, Alderley Edge – For the full extent
• Pendleton Way, Alderley Edge – For the full extent
• Dean Row Roundabout, Wilmslow – For the full extent
• Chapel Lane, Wilmslow – For the full extent
• Lacey Green, Wilmslow – For the full extent
• Moor Lane, Wilmslow – For the full extent
• Marbury Road, Wilmslow – For the full extent
• Altrincham Road, Wilmslow – For the full extent
• Chelford Road, Chelford – For the full extent
• Pickmere Lane, High Legh – For the full extent
• Warrington Road, High Legh – For the full extent
• Knutsford Road, Mere – For the full extent
• Ainslie Way, Handforth – For the full extent
• Manor Park North, Knutsford – For the full extent
• Thorneyholme Drive, Knutsford – For the full extent
• Middlewich Road, Cranage – For the full extent
• Moss Lane, Cranage – For the full extent

This order will come into operation on Monday 13 January 2025 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 31 January 2025.

• Bexton Road, Knutsford – From the junction of Cranford Avenue to the junction of Gloucester Road.

The alternative route will be via Bexton Road, Blackhill Lane, Bexton Lane, Toft Road, King Edward Road, Stanley Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Monday 9th December 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 20th December 2024.

This order will come into operation on Friday 22 November 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Thursday 30 January 2025.
