Disabled Persons’ Parking Places (No.1) Order 2024

South Lanarkshire Council propose to consider the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order thereby introducing new regulated parking bays for the sole use of ‘blue’ badge holders on Heathcliffe Avenue, Blantyre; Croft Road, Mansion Street, Whyte Avenue and Woodland Crescent, all Cambuslang; Algoma Place, Andersen Court, Anniversary Avenue, Ash Avenue, Beech Grove, Blenheim Avenue, Bruce Place, Buchandyke Road, Bunbury Terrace, Catrine, Crawford Drive, Dryburgh Hill, Dunblane Drive, Dunglass Avenue, Eider Avenue, Elphinstone Crescent, Glamis Drive, Glen More, Hazelhead, Ivanhoe, Juniper Avenue, Lammermoor, Laurel Drive, Leeward Circle, Logie Square, Maple Terrace, Mauchline, Melville Park, Milford, Naysmyth Bank, Quarry Park, Sandpiper Place, Strathcona Place, Sycamore Crescent, Troon Court, Wardlaw Crescent, Westwood Hill and Windward Road, all East Kilbride; Burnblea Street, Downfield Drive, Elmbank Crescent, Laighstonehall Road, Laurel Bank, Lorne Street, Marswood Green, Neilsland Road and Rosslyn Court, all Hamilton; Annbank Street, Fairholm Street and Muirshot Road, all Larkhall; Bellscroft Avenue, Belmont Drive, Brownsdale Road, Castlefern Road, Cathcart Road, Colville Drive, Drummond Avenue, Fernbrae Way, Newfield Place, Park Drive, Rosslyn Avenue, Skye Road and Victoria Street, all Rutherglen; Dovecastle Drive, Fernlea Road and Westbarns Road, all Strathaven.

Full details of these proposals, which form the proposed South Lanarkshire Council, Disabled Persons’ Parking Places (No.1) Order 2024, together with a plan and statement of reasons for proposing to make this Traffic Regulation Order, are available for inspection on the council’s website. 

Any person wishing to object to these proposals should send details of the grounds for objections in writing to the Head of Roads, Transportation and Fleet Services, Council Offices, Floor 6, Almada Street, Hamilton ML3 0AA, or by email to parking.unit@southlanarkshire.gov.uk, by Friday 3 January 2025.
