What is happening?

(Remote Footway, Chatfield Way, Pitsea)
(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Remote Footway, Chatfield Way, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon, from the north boundary of number 17 Chatfield Way, south for approximately 3 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 11 December 2024 to 13 December 2024 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while an electricity connection is undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Clarendon Road, Chatfield Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 11 December 2024 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Cranbrook Avenue, Thundersley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.12) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the Borough of Castle Point as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary "No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 5th December 2024, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The road will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Eastern Esplanade, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Seaview for a distance of approximately 165m in an easterly direction to its end.
2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction (with the exception of the vehicles used for plant movement) in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.
"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time" restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 10th December 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231012107 - Balfour Beatty). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while plant movement works are undertaken by Balfour Beatty.

3. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in the above length of roads for the duration of above closures only.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th December 2024 for 1 night (21:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2374731 - Essex County Council).
