What is happening?

Deepcut Bridge Road (B3015) Camberley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2024

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Deepcut Bridge Road (B3015) Camberley that is crossed over the rail bridge known as “Deepcut Road” (BML1 2/96) and for a distance of 20 metres either side. Alternative Route: (B3015) Deepcut Bridge Road, (B3012) Guildford Road, Wharf Road, Lake Road, and (B3015) Deepcut Bridge Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate utility works for, or on behalf of Network Rail. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 38 nights, between the hours of 12.30am and 5am, during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 06 January 2025. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
