Mill Lane, Hazel Grove - Temporary Prohibition Of Driving For Road Repairs To Take Place
What is happening?
THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT
(MILL LANE, HAZEL GROVE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which introduced a Temporary Prohibition of Driving at Mill Lane, Hazel Grove from 7 Mill Lane to Chatsworth Road, whilst traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the said road. This Order is necessary to allow for road repairs to take place, which are part of a planned maintenance programme. It is estimated these works will last three weeks. A diversion will be provided via Mill Lane, Macclesfield Road, Chatsworth Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on the 15 January 2024 and will have effect for eighteen months, provided that if all necessary works are completed within a shorter period this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
