Houldsworth Street - Temporary Prohibition Of Driving A Roof Inspection To Take Place
What is happening?
THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT
(HOULDSWORTH STREET, REDDISH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice under Section 14(1) of theRoad Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which will be to introduce a Temporary Prohibition of Driving at Houldsworth Street, Reddish between the junctions of Rupert Street and Broadstone Road, whilst traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the said road. This Order is necessary to allow a roof inspection to take place. It is estimated this inspection will take one day.
A diversion will be provided via Broadstone Road, Liverpool Street, Rupert Street and vice versa. This Order is to come into operation on the 13 December 2024 and will have effect for eighteen months, provided that if all necessary works are completed within a shorter period this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
