What is happening?

Manchester City Council made the following the orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The titles and effects of the made Order is as follows :

City Of Manchester (Moseley Road, Slade Lane And Albert Road, Manchester) (Prohibition Of Waiting And Loading And Amendment) Order 2024 

No Waiting at Any Time on;
Albert Road- the N side from Slade Lane in an E direction for 49m -the S side from Slade Lane to Ross Ave

Moseley Road-the N side from Slade Lane in a W direction for 25.5m 

- the S side from Slade Lane in a W direction for 22m Slade Lane-the E side from Albert Road in a N direction for 49m

-the E side from Albert Road in a S direction for 37m

-the W side from Moseley Road in a N direction for 28m

-the W side from Moseley Road in a S direction for 45m.

The Orders will come into operation on the 6th December 2024. A copy of the made Orders and the plan may be inspected at Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm on Monday to Friday inclusive. Alternatively, a copy of the order and plan may be requested at phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or by writing to Fiona Ledden, City Solicitor PO BOX 532, Town Hall, Manchester M60 2LA quoting reference L/AMSH/ HIG002/02011. 

Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may within 6 weeks from 29th November 2024 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
