RHODDWYD RHYBUDD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Blaenau Gwent, wrth arfer eu pwerau, yn cynnig, yn unol â Rheoliadau Rheoli Trefn Traffig Awdurdodau Lleol (Lloegr a Chymru) 1996 a Deddf Rheoli Traffig Ffordd 1984 (a elwir yn “y Ddeddf”), fel y diwygiwyd, a Rhan IV o Atodlen 9 i’r Ddeddf, fod:

1. I gyflwyno terfyn cyflymder llai o 40mph ar yr hyd y ffordd a nodir yn Atodlen 1 i’r hysbysiad hwn.

2. Bydd ffyrdd ar y ddwy ochr o’r hyd y ffordd a nodir yn Atodlen 1, yn cadw’r terfynau cyflymder presennol o 50mph.

Mae dogfennau sy’n rhoi mwy o fanylion am y cynigion ar gael ar wefan Bwrdeistref Cyngor Blaenau Gwent ac fe fydd yn bodoli hyd at ddiwedd cyfnod o 21 diwrnod o ddyddiad cyhoeddi’r hysbysiad hwn. Byddant yn cynnwys copïau o’r Cynlluniau a’r Mapiau arfaethedig sy’n nodi hyd y ffyrdd y mae’r Gorchmynion arfaethedig yn ymwneud â nhw, ynghyd â Datganiad y Cyngor o’r rhesymau dros gynnig gwneud y newidiadau i’r Gorchmynion.

Dylai unrhyw berson sy’n dymuno gwrthwynebu’r Gorchmynion arfaethedig anfon datganiad ysgrifenedig gydag unrhyw sylwadau ar y cynigion at Mr C. Rogers, Pennaeth Gwasanaethau Cymunedol, Cyngor Bwrdeistref Siriol Blaenau Gwent, Swyddfeydd Cyffredinol, Heol Steelworks, NP23 6DN. Dylai unrhyw sylwadau gael eu hanfon a’u cyrraedd o fewn 21 diwrnod ar ôl cyhoeddi’r hysbysiad ac fe ddylai fod yn amlwg: “FAO Mr C. Rogers” Fel arall, gallwch anfon e-bost at :

(40.M.p.h Speed Limit) Order

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council in exercise of their powers propose that in accordance with the Local Authorities Traffic Order (Procedure) (England & Wales) Regulations 1996 and the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”), as amended, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and be : 

1. To introduce a reduced 40mph speed limit on that length of road specified in schedule1 to this notice.

2. Roads either side of that length of road specified in schedule 1, will retain the existing 50mph speed limits.

Documents giving more details of the proposals are available on the Blaenau Gwent County Borough website and will be so until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published. They will include copies the proposed Schedules and Maps indicating the lengths of road to which the proposed Orders relates, together with the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the amendments to the Orders.

Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing with any comments on the engagement of the proposals to Mr C. Rogers, Head of Community Services, Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council, General Offices, Steelworks Road, NP23 6DN. Any representations should be sent and arrive within 21 days of the notice being published and be clearly marked: “FAO Mr C. Rogers – Alternatively, you can email :

The County Borough Council will consider representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. Plans and Schedules can be viewed on the Blaenau Gwent Website.
