What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF REDBRIDGE

THE REDBRIDGE (WAITING, LOADING, STOPPING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2021 (AMENDMENT NO. ) ORDER 202

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers, propose to make the above-named Order. The general effect of the Order would be as follows:

  1. Avenue Road IG8, the north side, extend double yellow lines outside No. 23 Avenue Road;
  2. Broxbourne Avenue E18, both sides, introduce 10 metres of double yellow lines from the south-west kerb-line of Charnwood Drive;
  3. Charnwood Drive E18, the north-east side – introduce double yellow lines 10 metres either side of the junction of Monmouth Avenue and with Hurstwood Avenue; the south-west side – introduce double yellow lines 10 metres either side of the junction of Broxbourne Avenue;
  4. Chigwell Road IG8, the south-east side, introduce double yellow lines from outside No. 1 Wheeler Close and No. 723 Chigwell Road extending across the access to Wheeler Close;
  5. George Lane E18, the north-east side – extend double yellow lines outside Nos. 123 and 125 George Lane, and revoke single yellow lines and extend paid for parking places (Mon to Sat, 8.30am to 6.30pm, 2 hour max stay, no return within 1 hour) outside No. 121 George Lane and Nos. 135a to 139 Green Lane;
  6. Hurstwood Avenue E18, both sides, introduce double yellow lines at its junction with Charnwood Drive and with Southview Drive;
  7. Latchett Road E18, the east side introduce double yellow lines opposite No. 10 Latchett Road;
  8. Monmouth Avenue E18, both sides, introduce 10 metres of double yellow lines from the north-east kerb-line of Charnwood Drive;
  9. Snaresbrook Road E11, the south side, convert the single yellow line to double yellow lines opposite Nos. 41 to 55 Snaresbrook Road;
  10. Southview Drive E18, the south west side, introduce double yellow lines at the junction with Hurstwood Avenue;
  11. Woodham Court E18, the north side of the north arm – extend double yellow lines outside Nos 1, 2, 3 and 4 Woodham Court; the south side of the south arm – extend double yellow lines opposite Nos 1, 2, 3 and 4 Woodham Court; the central island – the east and west sides, introduce double yellow lines;
  12. To make further amendments to bring the Map-Based Orders in line with the on-street layout.

A copy of the Order may be examined along with map-based plans at the Customer Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY between 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Any objections and other representations to the proposed Order must be made in writing stating the grounds on which they are made and sent to the council by email to: parking.schemes@redbridge.gov.uk or by writing to: Parking Team, 2nd Floor (front), Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY, within 21 days from the date of publication of this Notice.
