(Amendment No. 19) Order 202*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Chelmsford City Council acting on behalf of the South Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 30 June 2022 proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

Effect of the Order: To amend parking restrictions on the following lengths of road in the District of Maldon as specified below. All measurements are approximate and are taken from the extended kerb line unless stated otherwise.

  1. To replace the existing ‘No Waiting Sat, Sun and Bank Hols 8am - 8pm between 01 May and 30 Sep’ with ‘No Waiting at Any Time’:
  2. Woodrolfe Road, Tollesbury

    Both Sides: From a point 11 metres southeast of the shared boundary of the Woodrope Building and the Sailing Club, south-eastwards for 30 metres.

  3. To replace the existing ‘No Waiting Sat, Sun and Bank Hols 8am - 10pm between 01 Apr and 30 Sep’ with ‘No Waiting at Any Time’:

Park Drive, Maldon

Northeast Side: From a point 20 metres northwest of its northern junction with Fitch’s Crescent, north-westwards for 17 metres.

This proposed Order may be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting the tile numbers:

TL855 062 Revision 1 to Revision 2

If you wish to object to the proposed Order, or write in support of it, you should either send an email to trafficreg@chelmsford.gov.uk or write to the undersigned, stating the reasons for your objection or support, by Friday 20th December 2024. Any such representations will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under sections 100A-100K & Schedule 12 of the Local Government Act 1972 if and when a report is made to the South Essex Parking Partnership Sub Committee.
