What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
(PARTHENIA ROAD) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. The Council of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate water supply works in the above-named location; it made an Order the effect of which will temporarily prohibit traffic and introduce “at any time” waiting restrictions in a section of the above- named road.

2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed to enter Parthenia Road from No. 26 to No.28.

3. An alternative route for traffic in article 2 shall be provided via Basuto Road, Favart Road and Crondace Road.

4. Exemptions will be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

5. The Order will come into operation on the 10th December 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

6. Works will be expected to commence on Tuesday 10th December 2024 and last until 12th December 2024. he dates specified are for guidance and informative purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.
