Plymouth City - Prohibition The Driving, Parking, Waiting, Loading & Unloading Of Vehicles
What is happening?
PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (BEDFORD PARK/CLIFTON PLACE/PROVIDENCE STREET/DEPTFORD PLACE/AMITY PLACE/NELSON STREET/ARMADA STREET/WELLINGTON STREET) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act1984 (as amended), intend to make an Order the effect of which is:
1. To prohibit the driving, parking, waiting, loading &unloading of vehicles in:
- Providence Street - from Clifton Place to number 41
- Deptford Place - from North Hill to Mild may Street
- Amity Place - from Deptford Place to Armada Street
- Armada Street - from North Hill to Waterloo Street
- Nelson Street - from Deptford Place to Armada Street
2. To prohibit the parking, waiting, loading & unloading of vehicles in:
- Bedford Park - for its entirety
- Clifton Place - from number 1 to Providence Street
3. To suspend the one-way system on:
- Providence Street - for its entirety
- Amity Place - for its entirety
- Waterloo Street - for its entirety
- Nelson Street - for its entirety
- Wellington Street - for its entirety
The prohibition of driving, parking, waiting, loading &unloading will be in operation on the days and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs are displayed. The Order shall come into force on 2nd January 2025 and shall remain in force for a maximum of 18 months
It is anticipated that the phased gas mains works will commence on the 2nd January 2025 until 15th April2025 24hrs
