What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991

WALHOUSE ROAD, WALSALL

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & CLEARWAY) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days
from the date of this notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle from
proceeding or stopping in that length of:
* WALHOUSE ROAD, WALSALL that is situated from its junction with Charlotte Street to its
junction with Calder Avenue. (Monday 9 December 2024 to Wednesday 20 December
2024) (08:00 to 16:00).
* WALHOUSE ROAD, WALSALL is situated from its junction with Calder Avenue to its
junction with A4148 Broadway North. (Monday 6 January 2025 to Friday 31 January 2025)
(08:00 to 16:00).

Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction works.
Works on behalf of: Walsall MBC (Maintenance)
This Order will come into operation on Monday 9 December 2024. It is anticipated that the work will be completed as close as possible to the dates above. Signs will be erected on site indicating when the no stopping restriction will be in force and signed diversion routes (viewable on the website
one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic. The Order will remain in force for a period of up to eighteen months or until the work is completed, whichever is the earlier.
