What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
C36 WELSH ROAD, OFFCHURCH/LONG ITCHINGTON
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Bascote Road and B4455 Fosse Way.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-15.30hrs.
Please note – Works will be carried out on two consecutive Sundays.
Order Commences: 1 December 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 8 December 2024.
Access & Diversion: B4455 Fosse Way, A425, Bascote Road and vice versa

PUBLIC FOOTPATH W105 IN THE PARISH OF BISHOPS TACHBROOK
Order Effect: Footpath closed to ALL traffic between grid references SP29950-62428 to SP29466-62920.
Reason for Order: Because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath.
Order Commenced: 30 May 2022 for up to 6 months subsequently extended and was due to expire 1 December 2024. However, the Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has directed that the Order shall continue in force until 1 June 2025, or until works are completed, whichever is the earlier (unless the Secretary of State issues a further direction).
Access & Diversion: There is no alternative route available.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
BIRMINGHAM ROAD & SALTISFORD, WARWICK
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from the junction with Romani Close northwards under the railway bridge, a distance of approx 70 metres.
Reason for Order: To enable necessary repairs to the railway bridge, overnight 22.00hrs06.00 hrs.
Order Commences: 16 December 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 21 December 2024.
Access & Diversion: Saltisford, Northgate, Cape Road, Upper Cape, Wedgnock Lane, Birmingham Road and vice versa.

DIRTY LANE, BEAUSALE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to provide new poles.
Order Commences: 16 December 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 18 December 2024.
Access & Diversion: Rouncil Lane, Honiley Road, Heath Terrace and vice versa.

ROUNCIL LANE, BEAUSALE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from the junction with Kites Nest Lane to a point outside numbers 1 & 2 Fernhill Cottages.
Reason for Order: To enable works for the provision of 7 new telegraph poles.
Order Commences: 16 December 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 18 December 2024.
Access & Diversion: Honiley Road, Heath Terrace, Clattyland Lane, Brickyard Lane, Meer End Road, Kenilworth Road Gambles Island, Kenilworth Road, Birmingham Road, Clinton Lane, Castle Road, Borrowell Lane, Smalley Place, The Square, Warwick Road, St Johns and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, WARWICK)
(20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (VARIATION NO. 1) ORDER 2024
Warwickshire County Council propose to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to impose a 20mph speed limit on the length of road mentioned in the Schedule 1 below.

5 Wordsworth Avenue, Warwick
In its entirety between its junctions with Browning Avenue / Milton Avenue and Goldsmith Avenue.
6 Goldsmith Avenue, Warwick
In its entirety between its junctions with Wordsworth Avenue and A4189 Hampton Road.
7 Hampton Road, Warwick (Service Road Only)
From its junction with Goldsmith Avenue for a distance of 477 metres in a south-westerly direction along the Service Road only.
