U9046 PLOUGH INN JUNCTION TO RIVER PONT JUNCTION MEDBURN
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9046 Plough Inn Junction To River Pont Junction Medburn from its point at the junction of Eachwick Hall Drive heading east for a distance of 860 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 9th December 2024 until the 9th June 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 9th December 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 9th June 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C345, C343 To U9046 and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for the installation of 5 road signs. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
