Mothecombe Walk - Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians

What is happening?

PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (MOTHECOMBE WALK, COCKINGTON CLOSE, BAMPTON ROAD (FOOTPATH)) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), intend to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit the movement of pedestrians in:

1. To prohibit the movement of Pedestrians in:
- Mothecombe Walk - between numbers 41 and 21
- Cockington Close - between numbers 43 and 55, numbers 9 and 19 and 12 and 63
- Bampton Road - between numbers 64 and 86

The prohibition of pedestrians will be in operation on the days and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs are displayed. The Order shall come into force on 2nd January 2025 and shall continue in force for 6 months It is anticipated that the phased gas mains works will commence on the 2nd January 2025 until 31st March 2025 24hrs
