(Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Vehicles) Order 2024

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Pera Road, Walcot, Bath from a point outside Flat 12, Old Chapel, Pera Road extending east to a point outside the rear of 34 Thomas Street. USRN: 47901221.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable National Grid to install a new electricity supply on the 3rd December 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for FOUR DAYS.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Westbound: Thomas Street – London Road – Snow Hill – Tyning Lane – Camden Road – Gay’s Hill – Pera Place – Clarence Street – Pera Road.

Eastbound: Pera Road (remainder) – Margarets Hill – London Road – Thomas Street.

(Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Vehicles) Order 2024

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Tyning Lane, Fairfield Park, Bath from its junction with Chilton Road extending north to the rear of Fairfield Park Health Centre car park. USRN: 47901397.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to carry out a stop tap repair in the carriageway on the 16th December 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for THREE DAYS.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of West Avenue, Oldfield Park, Bath from its junction with South Road extending south west to its junction with Cynthia Avenue. USRN: 47901431.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to carry out a pole replacement on the 18th December 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for THREE DAYS between 09:30 - 15:30hrs.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to carry out a pole replacement on the 19th December 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 09.30 - 15:30hrs.
