ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 - KIRKLEES COUNCIL
(FAR END LANE, HONLEY, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Far End Lane, Honley from its junction with Woodhead Road, to its junction with Old Turnpike PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Old Turnpike, Southgate, Eastgate, Woodhead Road, Hagg Wood Road, Banks Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 16 December 2024 and remain in force for approximately one day between 08:00 – 17:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(HALL BOWER LANE, HALL BOWER, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Hall Bower Lane, Huddersfield from its junction with Lady House Lane to its junction with High Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via High Lane, Ashes Lane, Hey Lane, Park Lane, Robin Hood Hill, Parkgate, Waingate, Bridge Street, Ladyhouse Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 18 December 2024 and remain in force for until 20 December 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
(UNDERBANK OLD ROAD, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Underbank Old Road, Holmfirth from its junction with Sweep Lane to a point outside property no.53 Underbank Old Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Underbank Old Road, Well Hill Road, Dunford Road, Underbank Old Road anticlockwise only.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 19 December 2024 and remain in force for approximately one day between 08:00 - 18:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(RIDINGS FIELDS, BROCKHOLES, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Ridings Fields, Brockholes at a point outside property no. 80 Ridings Fields PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Ridings Fields, Steep Riding, Ridings Fields and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 2 December 2024 and remain in force for until 4 December 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(CROSS GATE ROAD, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Cross Gate Road, Holmfirth from its junction with Dunford Road, to its junction with Ryecroft Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Cross Lane, Scholes Moor Road, Penistone Road, Dunford Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 4 December 2024 and remain in force until 5 December 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(LANE SIDE LANE, KIRKHEATON, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lane Side Lane, Kirkheaton from approximately 185 metres south east from property no. 28 Lane Side Lane to its junction with Gawthorpe Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Lane Side Lane, Church Lane, Lascelles Hall Road, Highfield Lane, Gawthorpe Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 4 December 2024 and remain in force for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(ASHBROW ROAD, FARTOWN, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Ashbrow Road, Fartown from its junction with Bradley Boulevard, to its junction with Sheepridge Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Sheepridge Road, Wiggan Lane, New House Road, Bradley Boulevard and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 2 December 2024 and remain in force until 5 December 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(SLACK LANE, OUTLANE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Slack Lane, Huddersfield at a point outside property no. 14 Slack Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Slack Lane, New Hey Road, Round Ings Road, Slack Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 4 December 2024 and remain in force for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Hoyle Ing, Linthwaite, at a point outside property no. 1 Hoyle Ing to its junction with Manchester Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Hoyle Ing, Royd House Lane, Causeway Side, Hoyle House Fold, Manchester Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 5 December 2024 and remain in force for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(MOOR SIDE LANE, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 3) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Moor Side Lane, Slaithwaite from its junction with Pole Gate, to its junction with Moor Side Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Pole Gate, New Hey Road, Quebec Road, Waller Clough Road, Mellor Brook, Highfield Road, Moor Side Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday 6 December 2024 and remain in force for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(SAVILLE ROAD, SKELMANTHORPE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Saville Road, Skelmanthorpe from a point outside property no. 44 Saville Road to a point outside property no. 38 Saville Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Saville Road, Elm Street, Gib Lane, Station Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 2 December 2024 and remain in force until 3 December 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(POLE GATE, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Pole Gate, Slaithwaite from Pole Gate Branch to its junction with Moorside Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Pole Gate, New Hey Road, Quebec Road, Waller Clough Road, Clough Road, Crimble Clough Road, Carr Lane, Crimble Bank, Royd Street, Longlands Road, Heys Lane, Tiding Field Lane, Moorside Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday 6 December 2024 and remain in force for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(UNRECORDED PROW BETWEEN DEN/28/10 AND MARSDEN STREET, SKELMANTHORPE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of unrecorded PROW between Public Footpath DEN/28/10 and junction with Marsden Street, Skelmanthorpe PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.
Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via DEN/28/10, Access to 90-96 Station Road, Station Road, Saville Road, Marsden Street and vice versa.
The closure which came into operation on 12 July 2024 has been extended with permission of the Secretary of State for Transport to remain in force for a further period until 31 May 2025 (Any further extension will again require the
