THE NEWHAM (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO. 2) ORDER 2024

20 MPH SPEED LIMIT - BOROUGH WIDE - PHASE 2

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 25 November 2024 the Council of the London Borough of Newham made the Newham (20 mph Speed Limit) (No. 2) Order 2024 under Section 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
  2. The effect of the Order will be to impose a maximum 20 mph speed limit on motor vehicles proceeding in the roads and lengths of road that fall within the boundary of the London Borough of Newham as detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.
  3. Copies of the Order, which will come into force on 2 December 2024 and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, are available for inspection by appointment during normal office hours on Monday to Friday inclusive at Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road, E16 2QU by telephoning 020 3373 6415 or by emailing traffic.orders@newham.gov.uk for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
