GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF VARIOUS ROADS (VARIOUS PARISHES) STROUD DISTRICT & GLOUCESTER CITY

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE

The reason for the closures is for Carriageway Resurfacing works.

There will be no stopping or waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works.

The roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme commencing 2nd December 2024, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures taking effect. This order can permit the closure of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 31st March 2025. TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF 490492 TRYES ROAD AND FOOTWAY (PARK WARD) CHELTENHAM BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 490592 Tryes Road and Footway from its junction with Painswick Road to its junction with Shurdington Road for a distance of approximately 130 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for a safe working zone to accommodate work vehicles whilst works to the footway are completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 490623 LIDDINGTON ROAD (LECKHAMPTON WARD) CHELTENHAM BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 490623 Liddington Road from its junction with Leckhampton Road to outside the property known as ‘No. 199 Leckhampton Road’ for a distance of approximately 35 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 490040 RYEWORTH ROAD AND FOOTWAY (CHARLTON KINGS PARISH) CHELTENHAM BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 490040 Ryeworth Road and Footway from outside the property known as ’34 Ryeworth Road’ to outside the property known as ’56 Ryeworth Road’ for a distance of approximately 40 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works to replace the kerbs and footway surfaces.

TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION B4641 VALIANT WAY (BROCKWORTH PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily reduce the speed limit as stated on the length of road as described in the Schedule set out below.

The reason for the above restriction is to facilitate developer led access works in this location.

The reason for the said closures is for repairs to the carriageway and resurfacing and drainage works.
