What is happening?

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(CONTROL OF ON-STREET PARKING) (No. 2) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bracknell Forest Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

Effects of the Order:

The effects of the Order are to introduce the new restrictions as detailed in Schedule 1.

All of the remaining waiting restrictions, loading/unloading restrictions, stopping restrictions and disabled parking spaces within the Borough of Bracknell Forest will remain unchanged and will be consolidated into this new Order.

Orders to be Consolidated into this Order and revoked:

Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Control of On-Street Parking) (No.1) Order 2024 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.

Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Disabled Parking Spaces) (Phase 2) Order 2024 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.

Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Turnpike Road, Binfield & Coopers Hill, Bracknell) (No Waiting At Any Time) Order 2024 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.

Objections:

Objections to the proposals, together with the grounds upon which they are made, should be sent in writing to Neil Mathews, Assistant Director - Highways & Transport, Bracknell Forest Council, Time Square, Market Street, Bracknell, Berkshire RG12 1JD or via e-mail highways.transport@bracknell-forest.gov.uk to be received by him no later than the 20th December 2024.

  • Wooden Hill (Both sides)

    From a point 55 metres north of its junction with Staplehurst northwards for a distance of 20 metres.

  • Lily Hill Road (Both sides)

    From a point 15 metres west of its junction with Millman Close eastwards and then southwards for a distance of 180 metres.

  • Lily Hill Road (East side)

    From a point 15 metres north of its junction with Arden Close southwards for a distance of 30 metres.

  • Lower Church Road (Both sides)

    From a point 45 metres west of its junction with High Street westwards for a distance of 30 metres.

  • Lych Gate Close (Both sides)

    From its junction with Lower Church Road southwards for a distance of 17 metres.

  • Lych Gate Close (West side)

    From a point 17 metres south of its junction with Lower Church Road southwards distance of 25 metres.

  • Loughborough (Both sides)

    From a point 15 metres north-west of its junction with Loughborough south-eastwards for a distance of 30 metres.

  • Nuneaton (Both sides)

    From its junction with Nuneaton north-westwards for a distance of 19 metres.

  • Moordale Avenue (South-east side)

    From a point 10 metres south-west of its junction with Meadow Way north-eastwards for a distance of 20 metres.

  • Meadow Way (Both sides)

    From its junction with Moordale Avenue south-eastwards for a distance of 10 metres.

  • New Road (West side)

    From a point 17 metres north-east of its junction with Kennel Ride north-eastwards for a distance of 29 metres.

  • New Road (Both sides)

    From a point 13 metres south-west of its junction with Beechwood Close south-eastwards for a distance of 20 metres.

    From its junction with New Road north-westwards for a distance of 10 metres.
