What is happening?

ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL

FRASERBURGH – PEAK TIME ROAD CLOSURES

NOTICE is given that on 27/11/24, “The Aberdeenshire Council (South Park School, Fraserburgh) (Peak Time Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order 2024” has been made under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

The effect of the order. which will come into operation on 02/12/24, will be to prohibit any person from driving any vehicle on the lengths of road detailed below between 08:15 and 09:15 and 14:30 and 15:00.

Philorth Avenue/Mormond Avenue Junction to Philorth Avenue/Provost Milne Drive Junction

St Modans Place/Witchhill Road Junctions to St Modans Place/Philorth Avenue Junctions

The original proposals were advertised in the Fraserburgh Herald on 10/10/24.

A copy of the finalised order can be viewed by contacting traffic.order@aberdeenshire.gov.uk

Anyone wishing to question the validity of the order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements arising from the Act have not been complied with may, within 6 weeks of 28/11/24 apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
